Alwan Announces IPEX Specials for New PRINT Standardizer 2.0 and PRINT Verifier 1.0 Products

Alwan Color Expertise, a leader in standardization technologies, today announced a 30% discount on the launch price of its new PRINT Standardizer 2.0 software, along with a free version of PRINT Verifier software, to help printers bring their offset, digital, flexo and gravure printing processes up to standards at minimal cost.

The price of the full version of PRINT Verifier 1.0 is 500€ / £440. During the duration of Ipex, visitors can obtain a free copy of the full version of Print Verifier when visiting the Alwan stand.
PRINT Standardizer 2.0 will also be bundled with X-Rite and Techkon press-side color measurement instruments and available from Alwan and its channel partners at the show. Additional show specials on Alwan color management and PDF standardization products — CMYK Optimizer and PDF Standardizer — will also be available at the Alwan booth

About CMYK Optimizer 3.8.0
Alwan CMYK Optimizer is a universally applicable color server with integrated Dynamic DeviceLink technology for print service providers. It is adapted to all types of printing devices, including offset and digital presses, as well as large format printers which can see as much as 30% in savings in expensive inks. In contrast to other color server solutions, Alwan uses a dynamic approach. Every file is analyzed and its color preflighted before further processing takes place. This guarantees that all necessary parameters for good color transformation are understood in advance of actually printing the job. Depending upon the output settings, and based on the color analysis of the job, a Dynamic DeviceLink profile is calculated. This allows color transformation to be implemented in such a way that ink consumption is reduced without visual changes in the color impression and/or measurement, maintaining PDF color integrity. CMYK Optimizer also delivers exceptional transparency management, maintaining color integrity of transparent objects. In addition to English, it is also available in French and German.
About Print Standardizer 2.0
Print Standardizer was developed in response to the fast-growing need for standards in the print industry. This solution provides printers with an easy and affordable way to achieve ISO 12647 conformance on both digital and conventional presses. When connected to an auto-scanning device, Alwan Print Standardizer ensures that presses conform to the three requirements of ISO 12647 compliance: solids (CIELAB colors), dot gain (TVI), and mid-tone spread. With Alwan’s unique dynamic dot gain compensation technology, ISO conformance is automatically achieved in production. It eliminates the need to conduct costly, time-consuming and often insufficient test or calibration print sessions.

New at IPEX is Alwan’s Print Verifier: print verification and certification software for handheld devices that Alwan Print Standardizer users will be able to offer to print buyers. This allows users to save, export and import quality-control analysis conditions including: Target, Instrument, Control strip, Measuring conditions, and Certification method.
