Atlantic Zeiser debuts next-generation UV inkjet printing and coding solutions at Grafitalia 2009
Exciting premiere in Italy for OMEGA 72 Digital Inkjet Printing System and BRAILLEJET, OMEGA 72 printer series launch with SMARTCURE 72i LED UV curing
Atlantic Zeiser, leading innovator and technology supplier for digital narrow printing processes, is planning a major rollout of its high-resolution digital UV ink and coding solutions at Grafitalia/Converflex/ipack.ima, held 24-28 March, 2009 in Rho-Milan. Atlantic Zeiser will demonstrate a lineup of future-oriented solutions for digital narrow printing processes for the first time in Italy at stand GO1-HO2 in Hall 14.
During Grafitalia/Converflex/ipack.ima, Atlantic Zeiser will officially launch one of its latest inkjet printers, the OMEGA 72i, to directly address the technical and cost-efficiency requirements for the Italian print, labeling, and packaging markets. The OMEGA 72i, in vertical print position, supports an enlarged print width of up to 72mm with high 360x360dpi quality print and maximum production speed of up to 60m/min. This powerhouse printer offers exceptional quality with perfect adhesion, and is perfectly suited to handle a full range of applications and products in the packaging and printing industries.
The OMEGA 72i will be shown in combination with the OMEGA 36 in horizontal position. Another member of the successful OMEGA product family, the OMEGA 36 HD ("High Definition”) printer, will be configured in a web system for label printing. This lightweight and compact printer ensures clear, crisp 720 dpi resolution of extremely small font sizes, barcodes, foreign characters, graphics, and logos.
Live demos of the two printers will include Atlantic Zeiser's new eco-friendly SMARTCURE 72i LED UV curing device. The next-generation LED technology delivers space and energy savings when compared to other UV curing solutions, especially those using HG bulbs.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about GAMMA 70, Atlantic Zeiser's full color card personalization solution that was initially announced at CARTES 2008 and generated tremendous interest. It will be officially launched at FESPA Digital 2009 (Amsterdam). The GAMMA 70 can cost-efficiently handle up to 6,000 personalized cards per hour in four-color or 8,000 cards per hour in spot color. Its flexible and versatile technology enables the GAMMA 70 to also excel as a single product artwork printing solution for cost-effectively producing small batches in other markets such as label printing and industrial full color product marking.
BRAILLEJET, Atlantic Zeiser's new high quality printing system for Braille, the font for blind people, will be shown for the first time in Italy. The live variable print demo will show how BRAILLEJET's revolutionary new micro valve technology enables fonts to be printed using UV curable high-viscosity ink and to achieve immediate fixation of the dots. The result is optimum readability exceptional dot clarity and expensive setup costs associated with silk-screen printing or embossing are totally eliminated.
