Software company appoints director of sales and a director of business development and channel sales to expand presence in EMEA
Mobius Management Systems, Inc. a provider of integrated solutions for enterprise archiving and records management, today announced the appointment of two new positions to its European sales team. Anthony Alder has been appointed to a new position of director of business development and channel sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Patrick Hansen joins as director of sales for Northern Europe. Their charter is to expand Mobius’s presence across Europe, with Alder specifically focusing on the development of strategic partnerships with targeted, value-added integrators and resellers.
Alder’s appointment marks Mobius’s response to market demand for end-to-end solutions that satisfy the records management and enterprise archiving needs of the ever evolving organisation. Mobius’s flagship products, ViewDirect®, the industry-leading archiving and records management engine, and Total Content Integrator (TCI), the premier solution for connecting all sources of information with all users and applications, fit effortlessly into the reseller toolkit and offer all parties a high return on investment.
Hansen’s appointment fits in with the Mobius EMEA business strategy to grow its European footprint in Northern Europe.
"Patrick brings with him a wealth of sales management expertise in the software industry,” said Karry Kleeman, Mobius senior vice president for EMEA. "His extensive operational knowledge and deep understanding of enterprise software is a strategic asset to our European management team.”
Commenting on Alder’s new position, Karry added: "Our successes with direct sales and conversations with our customers have shown us that now is the time to augment our direct efforts with a comprehensive channel program. Anthony’s outstanding track record in direct sales at Mobius, his in-depth understanding and knowledge of the market and his experience with channel sales make him the perfect candidate to lead Mobius forward with its broader go-to-market approach. This initiative will enable Mobius to expand into areas in which we haven’t had a presence. This is an excellent opportunity for Mobius and is very much in line with our business strategy.”
Commenting on his appointment, Alder said: "I am excited to undertake the challenge of this new role within Mobius. Previous to assuming his new role, Alder was with Mobius for seven years on the direct sales team. Prior to joining Mobius, he had ten years of direct and channel sales experience at Canon.
Hansen brings with him over 15 years experience in the enterprise software market. He joins Mobius from COSA where he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to COSA, Hansen had four years experience at FileNet as vice president of the channel in EMEA, and also has previously held positions at Accelio Corp. and BancTec BV.
