Doculabs and AIIM Open ECM Exchange Theater at AIIM Conference and Expo to Offer a Wide Range of Workshops

Questex Media Group, Inc. today announced that Doculabs, a consulting firm that helps organizations develop sound technology strategies for document and content applications and processes, and AIIM - The ECM Association, will partner to present the ECM Exchange Theater, a series of interactive panels with industry-leading analysts and technology vendors focused on enterprise content management (ECM) issues at the AIIM Expo, April 17-19 at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center.

In this series of interactive vendor panels, competing ECM suppliers representing a variety of applications spaces provide their views on questions posed by Expo attendees and Doculabs. The sessions have been designed to address the most pressing end-user issues. A senior representative from AIIM - The ECM Association will test attendees’ knowledge of ECM and electronic records management (ERM) during several interactive sessions. AIIM 2007 Carl E. Nelson Best Practice Award finalists will share many valuable lessons learned to help others with their implementations. The ECM Exchange Theater is open to all conference and expo attendees.

"We are committed to offering AIIM attendees educational content to help them make the right technology choices and maximize the return on investment of their organization’s information assets," said Christina Condos, Group Show Director, Questex Media Group. "These interactive sessions, hosted by AIIM and Doculabs, are a great opportunity for attendees to tap the knowledge and expertise of the brightest minds in the business."

John Mancini, president, AIIM - the ECM Association, added, "These sessions emphasize our commitment to helping users understand the challenges associated with managing documents, content, records, and business processes. By partnering with Doculabs to produce this exchange of information, we are able to offer practical information in a fun and interactive way."

"These sessions allow key exhibitors and industry experts to interact with end users in a low-key, entertaining atmosphere," noted James K. Watson Jr., Ph.D., President and CEO, Doculabs. "We hope this interactive forum will provide business and IT decision-makers with the information they need to develop sound technology strategies."

Vendors participating in the ECM Exchange sessions include:
