e-Docs Announces Strategic Acquisition of Total Imaging Solutions

e-Docs UK has acquired Total Imaging Solutions, the Watford-based provider of document scanning services

This is the first of a series of strategic acquisitions that will strengthen the company's position in the marketplace and enable the delivery of a broader range of services to clients.

This acquisition will enable e-Docs UK to develop the scanning side of the business and play a key role in helping the company to hit its target of processing more than 5 million documents per month. This will consolidate the company's position as one of the UK's largest providers of scanning services and enhance its range of advanced document management solutions, which include invoice processing, document hosting and e-billing.

According to Colin Baterip, Managing Director of e-Docs UK: "This acquisition will help give e-Docs UK the critical mass to achieve a greater presence in the market and compete on equal footing with the largest document management service providers. It will enhance our ability to deliver innovative, ‘best of breed' solutions regardless of scale."

As part of the deal, e-Docs UK will acquire Total Imaging Solutions' client base, which comprises mainly of large blue chip clients. Account manager Clare West will immediately join the e-Docs UK team.
