Mobius to Showcase Compliance Solutions at DMS Expo 2006
Market leader to demonstrate solutions for GDPdU and records management on Booth G098
Mobius Management Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBI), a leading provider of integrated solutions for content and records management, today announced that it will be a key exhibitor at DMS Expo 2006, to be held in Cologne, Germany on September 19 - 21. Mobius will showcase its market-leading ViewDirect® suite, with a focus on compliance solutions and its newest version of Total Content Integrator (TCI), a ground-breaking solution for open source-based content integration.
ViewDirect is the market’s most comprehensive and scalable solution for managing the entire lifecycle of records, documents, e-mail and content in any format, from any source. The high-volume, high-performance ViewDirect repository ensures the long-term integrity and availability of these critical corporate assets to support compliance, legal processes and mission-critical business operations.

- ViewDirect for GDPdU assists organisations in meeting the German GDPdU regulations by managing tax-related information in accordance with legal requirements throughout its lifecycle. ViewDirect for GDPdU classifies data relevant for tax purposes and verifies that the data is accurate before archiving it in accordance with GDPdU until it needs to be deleted.
- Total Content Integrator provides fast, easy, and secure access to all content, stored anywhere in the enterprise. It gives authorised users a single, consistent interface to multiple, disparate content sources and delivers content to business-critical applications. The newest version of TCI features an open source interface that can be used by independent software vendors and end-user organizations to develop applications that can retrieve content from anywhere in the enterprise. This Web Services Description Language (WSDL)-based content integration framework enhances the "plug-and-play” interoperability of the system and connects any user of content to any source of content.
- ViewDirect Records Manager leverages Mobius's highly scalable ViewDirect Repository to provide an enterprise-level, full lifecycle management solution that includes policy-based data migration across the storage hierarchy for all corporate records.
- ViewDirect E-mail Manager captures, indexes, stores and retrieves e-mail messages to meet regulatory compliance, offload e-mail storage and integrate e-mail messages with other business-critical content. ViewDirect E-mail Manager optimises storage utilisation by eliminating duplicate storage of messages and attachments sent to multiple recipients.
- ABS for Spreadsheet Compliance reduces the risk of error and restores confidence in financial reporting by centralising and managing the entire lifecycle of enterprise spreadsheets.
