Mobius Recognizes Customer Achievement and Introduces New Compliance Solution

Conference focuses on compliance and "Know Your Customer” requirements
Mobius Management Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBI), the leading provider of integrated solutions for content and records management, today announced the winners of the annual Mobius Customer Achievement Awards, presented this year to seven European organisations whose use of Mobius software meets the highest standards for innovation and delivering value. The awards were presented at the second annual Mobius Users Group Conference for European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) customers, held this year in Prague, Czech Republic.
The conference theme, ‘A Bridge to Your Success,’ came alive in more than forty conference sessions presented by Mobius customers, partners and staff. Keynote speaker Sarah Kittmer, senior analyst at Ovum, a leading industry analyst firm, gave pragmatic advice on coping with the perils and pitfalls of implementing "full content management.” Platinum sponsor Sun Microsystems delivered a second keynote address, identifying some practical considerations that will help IT provide support for good corporate governance via an integrated solution for both content and storage management.
Conference sessions explored numerous themes such as regulatory and legal compliance, enterprise-level records and e-mail management, content integration and content-centric applications that address specific business requirements. Among the highlights was the introduction of ABS for Spreadsheet Compliance, a new solution that mitigates risk and eases the burden of regulatory compliance by centralising and managing the lifecycle of business-critical spreadsheets. Also of particular interest to delegates was a focus on the impact of "Know Your Customer” legislation on banks across Europe, illustrated by Ken Davis, of ABN AMRO Bank, during the second day’s plenary sessions.
Speaking at the conference, Mitch Gross, Mobius CEO and president, stated: "I am delighted that so many of our customers in Europe are here in Prague to share experiences and learn how to get the best out of Mobius technology. What you learn over the next few days will illustrate how easy it is to lower the total cost of ownership while implementing and using the most robust and scalable content and records management solution available today.”
Karry Kleeman, Mobius senior vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, commented, ”ABS for Spreadsheet Compliance, the latest addition to our solution portfolio, gives our customers a powerful tool that is rapidly becoming a vital component of any organisation’s strategy to deploy systematic controls that improve the integrity of critical corporate data.”
