Card Commerce International, provider of premier, value-added solutions in the credit card industry, will securely host documents on-line with document management service provider, WorldView Ltd.

Scheduled to go-live in December, Card Commerce needed a way to securely distribute their files via multiple delivery channels and, in addition, wanted to improve their document and file collection operations. Through their customer loyalty solutions Card Commerce can track merchant and consumer participants, determine their eligibility, and calculate the amount of rebates, rewards and incentives owed.

According to a Card Commerce spokesperson, after evaluating a number of document management providers, Card Commerce determined that WorldView’s hosted document management services best satisfied their need to share pertinent business information with their business partners.

"Information from each paper document will now be available for immediate review by Card Commerce staff and their business partners,” says WorldView president, Tom Hassenstab. "With ImageView, our document imaging and management solution, we showed Card Commerce how they can make information more easily attainable and deliverable by digitizing, storing, and organizing their various customer files into one central electronic content repository with instant delivery capabilities.”

ImageView is a document imaging and management service that allows large volumes of paper generated forms and documents to be stored electronically. Card Commerce employees and business partners will have the ability to search, cross-reference and retrieve documents quickly and effortlessly from anywhere with Internet-accessible PCs. While Card Commerce will collect their data via scanning, ImageView also allows other methods of data collection, such as fax servers, e-docs and e-forms.

"Our hosted, ImageView solution will allow Card Commerce to scan, digitally capture, and index their hard copy documents and data with a lower total cost of ownership when compared to an in-house implementation,” says Hassenstab. "Card Commerce’s technical resources will be freed up to concentrate efforts on their core business.”

The move to digitize and store documents is a natural progression for companies like Card Commerce, which process millions of transactions daily. WorldView’s hosted document management solution will allow reliable and secure retrieval of valuable company information, providing peace of mind for both Card Commerce employees and their customers.
