Synchris Announces Software Release of Privia v4.1

Synchris(TM), Inc. announced Privia 4.1 software release, which allows government contractors to easily manage their entire bid and proposal process from a single application.

New 4.1 features include the "toolbar," which enables end-users a one button transfer of contract opportunity information in a structured format into Privia's Pipeline Management view. Toolbar benefits include eliminating cumbersome data entry tasks and the automated upload and inclusion of supporting documents such as Statements of Work and Technical Requirements with the opportunity data. The toolbar imports public and private database content and any internet site information. This new release includes pre- defined, "out of the box" pipeline and opportunity tracking reports that give "real time" up-to-date information access. The report engine also enables custom report creation based on fields that are exposed through an easy-to-use reporting interface. A new client interface allows easier collection, tracking, and management of data to be used in the capture and bid process. Data is entered in the system real-time and is exposed through additional placeholders such as Win Themes and Discriminators tabs.

"Privia 4.1 allows companies to virtually connect remote offices, teaming partners and subcontractors to efficiently collaborate on bids and win more business," says, Michael Jakab, VP of Sales and Product Management. "New pricing and seat license structure provides scalability, allowing customers to increase adoption as their business grows. Our flexible pricing accommodates from five to five thousand users."

The Privia application includes a central information repository with robust search and collaboration tools that provide immediate access to libraries, archives, resumes, graphics, and links to other folders; a flexible process designer engine that adapts to user processes without limits; and a virtual war room that allows for real time communication with automated alerts via email and SMS and promotes collaboration between team members, regardless of their physical location.

Privia supports a company's best practices and allows users to automate tasks while tracking milestones. Privia's robust reporting engine enables real time reports with greater visibility into task assignments and responsibilities, helping track progress, identify bottlenecks, and alert members when tasks are overdue or at risk.

Privia's strong document management functionality allows users to share, review and edit documents in real time, as well as to specify view and edit permissions, per user, at the document level. The version control functionality provides the ability to lock files and to keep a full history of revisions to documents, allowing any user to roll back to previous versions, if needed. Privia provides full integration with standard desktop tools and the ability to accommodate all file types, including graphics, text, and tables.

Synchris has installed Privia 4.1 at two enterprise locations prior to the release date and expectations have been exceeded. "This is a platform that will support a much larger customer base and multiple distribution methods," said Jakab.
