Higher Education Gives an A+ to Enterprise Document Management
Feith Systems, provider of document management software solutions, together with its strategic partner Jenzabar, Inc., the pioneer of Total Campus Management (TCM) for higher education, reported positive results for the partnership. Announced in July 2004, the alliance is gaining momentum as together the two companies continue to provide A+ enterprise solutions to colleges and universities nationwide. This partnership has already borne fruit for several Jenzabar clients and is highly anticipated on many more campuses.
Shawnee State University, the regional state university of Southern Ohio, reports major productivity gains and expense reductions resulting from deployment of the document imaging solution provided by Feith and Jenzabar. "We have been pleased with the improvements that we've seen by implementing our document imaging system," said Chuck Warner, Director of Information Systems for Shawnee State University. "Our ability to manage the flow of documents across campus, cut down on storage, and move toward a 'paperless' administrative system has greatly benefited the University. Jenzabar's support in providing a seamless integration with our ERP system meant that we were able to realize these benefits quickly without any significant service interruptions."

Jenzabar has integrated the Feith system for many client institutions focusing on the areas of admissions, registration, student financials, academic records, and accounts payable. Up to a dozen additional installations are planned over the next few months. The total document management solution available from Jenzabar includes Feith's document imaging and management, workflow, and ERM/COLD (Electronic Records Management/Computer Output to Laser Disk).
Jenzabar has integrated document management into its Total Campus Management (TCM) solution in response to customers' needs to leverage data storage and retrieval in their administrative processes. Feith provides a document management solution that can operate with any of the Jenzabar ERP platforms. Feith's enterprise-wide imaging and document management product complements Jenzabar's TCM offerings by providing technology to electronically scan and archive documents in all departments across the institution, from student records to purchasing, financials, and physical plant operations.
