Documation, provider of document management and workflow solutions, has announced that it is to be one of just 65 companies in the UK to have been awarded the Microsoft partner ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Competency.

Microsoft Competencies are a measure of a partner’s skill set and proven capabilities in a specific business model. Achieving the ISV Competency, recognises the innovative development of software solutions based on the Microsoft platform and technologies.

Karl Nokes, Head of the Channel Development Group within the UK at Microsoft congratulates Documation on its success: "Microsoft makes every effort to ensure that we put all the right partner resources in place to support the Certified Partners, enabling them to deliver a great customer experience. To obtain Certified status with ISV Competency, Documation has undergone some lengthy and extensive training to ensure that it has all the right skills needed to deliver the most effective technology solutions to enhance its customers' businesses. It is always inspirational to see such great companies strive to enhance their already strong offering”.

Holding the ISV Competency will differentiate Documation’s position in the marketplace. Customers will have the confidence of knowing they are purchasing a robust and quality product, which has passed Microsoft’s rigorous testing standards. Furthermore, they can be assured of the certification of staff responsible for their solution.

Alan Faux, Development Manager at Documation, said: "The development team are delighted with this accolade; we have always aligned our development very closely with Microsoft and this recognition confirms the strength of our product and of the team’s contribution.”
