Docutron Systems, Inc., provider of document management solutions, and Pinnacle Network, LLC, a insurance technology consulting and training company, announced that the companies have partnered and jointly developed the Pinnacle Document Management Solution (PDMS) for the Insurance Industry. Effective immediately, Pinnacle is the exclusive Insurance Industry distributor for Docutron in North America and will market and sell the joint offering worldwide through a dedicated sales force and insurance reseller network.

The Pinnacle Document Management Solution for Insurance powered by Docutron is a simple-to-use, powerful, and cost-effective imaging and document management system specifically designed for the Insurance Industry that brings enormous volumes of electronic and paper documents under control. Unlike other systems that manage electronic and paper documents, PDMS powered by Docutron, works the way insurance businesses do. The solution integrates seamlessly with insurance software applications and does not require a re-engineering of existing business processes, workflow, or infrastructure. PDMS is designed to be used the way insurance professionals already do their jobs.

"Insurance businesses generate an enormous amount of electronic and paper documents, including many that need to be kept confidential and secure, but at the same time accessible to authorized individuals," said Ed Olsen, President of Pinnacle Network, LLC. "PDMS is the only totally Web-based document management solution in the insurance vertical today. It is available in both a server based implementation or ASP version," added Olsen.

PDMS makes it quick and easy for employees to import electronic documents, scan paper-based documents, and save them electronically in a structured file system and then access exactly what they want and when they need it.

"Insurance businesses exist to serve customers and make money, not to manage paper and electronic documents," said Jim Krzywicki, CEO of Docutron Systems, Inc. "We're thrilled to partner with the team at Pinnacle because of their unsurpassed domain expertise in the insurance industry. Together we will help insurance business around the world, both large and small, to manage the massive number of paper and electronic documents that are critical to business success."
