Bruck GmbH & Co. KG with its head office in Herne is a pioneer in the segment of miniaturized busbar systems. The globally oriented company wants to continue providing its clients with an optimal service. In future, concrete client requirements are to be dealt with on an individual basis. That is why Bruck is applying the classification model ETIM 3.0 to make the entire product data available to its clients. The data exchange format guarantees that all catalogue articles can be stored as well as automatically processed. Apart from that all product data stock will be available to clients as a periodically updated version.

communicode, specialists in Product Information Management and Content Management will be responsible for the technical implementation. The Essen agency carried out an automated classification of all existing product attributes in accordance with defined rules. In addition, communicode imported all existing product data from the Bruck organization into the hybris platform of its technology partner hybris. The result of the data import was a product data stock classified in accordance with ETIM and a significantly simplified maintenance of missing product information for the Bruck employees.

hybris provides web-based software solutions for managing product information and catalogue data as well as for the downstreamed applications e-Commerce, e-Procurement and Single Source Publishing. communicode has been advanced partner of hybris since 2005.
